The powerful 950-Watt motor will power your way through the toughest jobs, while the 16-Cup work bowl will have the capacity for the largest jobs. The Chef's Bowl (included), is the ultimate time saver: the bowl fits inside the work bowl and allows the slicing and shredding of a second food item without stopping to clean the work bowl first. The Mini Bowl (included) transforms the Pro Line food processor into a mini-chopper. The Ultra Wide Mouth Feed Tube will save time by accommodating large items-like tomatoes, cucumbers, and potatoes. The premium quality stainless steel mulitpurpose blade chops, minces, blends, mixes, or emulsifies foods quickly and easily. Truly The Most Powerful Processor Out There!! Cuisinart, Eat Yout Heart Out!!! (2009-03-22)
I've had this food processor for almost three years now! I got it during the late spring of '06, and let me tell you, this machine truly has what it takes to get the job done!! It has stood up to every processing job without even batting an eyelash!! Every job that I assigned it to, it comes out as a true winner!

It has a very powerful & robust commercial-grade induction motor, 1,000 watts to be exact - not the 950 watts as stated above. The most powerful one that you can ever get in ANY home food processor.

And just to clear up some of the misconceptions about this machine;

1. Yes, ALL of the work bowls will tend to get dirty a little when only the mini bowl is used. Or the main work bowl when the chefs' bowl is used. But you would have to wash all of the bowls anyway if you're using all three. So that isn't a problem with me. It's good practice anyway, to squash the chances of encountering any hard food residue and the possible growth of any germs & bacteria! You can just pop them in your dishwasher's top rack.

2. There are reviews stating that the cover blew off or flew off the work bowl when trying to shred mozzerella cheese. Parmasan and Parmasiano Reggiano are two of the hardest known cheeses, and to see if this would happen with mine, I've just tried it out, since I haven't shredded cheese with it before until today. I was a bit worried that it might happen.

But it DIDN'T! The spinning shredder disk made a bit of a racket, as is expected with hard cheese, but it quieted down once the cheese was shredded. The cover stayed on and engaged with the bowl and didn't even come loose at all! Proof that this machine does what K'Aid says that it will do!!

The disk DID however, get a little warm from the small stubs of cheese rubbing on it, but in no way was the machine or the disk in any danger of breaking!

And if the machine can get past this, and it did, then the rest is real easy! Things that can stop a lesser machine are DUCK SOUP for this one! It is more powerful than Cuisinart and that other machine, the Magimix! It easily trounces over those wimpy machines with no trouble at all!!

The .4.5-cups mini bowl is used for small chopping jobs like garlic, herbs and small amounts of onions. The 13-cups chef bowl is for slicing and shreding only, and the huge 16-cups main work bowl is used for chopping and processing larger quantities of stuff as well as for kneading bread dough.

The bowls themselves along with the lid and pusher assembly are made of the toughest polycarbonate material available and it actually thicker than all other brands! On /off and pulse buttons and a blue indicator light.

Yes, this unit has it all! And you won't find any other home processor in the world like it!! It's the absolute best!! It's simple; You can buy a cheaper inferior quality machine and have to replace it in about a year or so. Or you can get this unit and not have to replace it for a long, long, long, long, long time!! Buy quality once or buy crap forever!!

Great product,No Problems here (2007-12-31)
I bought this product 3 years ago,and use it alot,i haven't had the problems other had,although i dont use it for cheese shredding,i know this is a big machine and should handle this,but cheese is very hard, so i use a seperate shredder for this,i got a deal on my unit thats why i bought it,it was only 50.00 more from the unit below this one and much bigger,i wouldn't pay full price for this,great product but not for 350.00,i paid 250.00,I would buy this again at 250.00,I think its a great product.
